Festival:-      During the celebration of Chithirai festival in April-May in the Gowmari Amman Temple, the puja for the Flag Post (Kodi Maram) is conducted in this temple. Also special pujas are performed on Tamil New Year day and other important days.

Temple Speciality:-       It is noteworthy that River Mullai passes through this place with all the effects of the herbal plants growing in the Western Ghats.  These herbal plants are noted for their healing properties in them.
